Shaw Trust is the UK's largest third sector provider of employment services for disabled and disadvantaged people. It works in partnership with public sector organisations and provides diverse services for businesses. It is a specialist in providing web accessibility accreditation, auditing, user testing, web design services and consultancy as well as disability awareness training. Mindset has undertaken research in this area, utilising desk research and qualitative depth interviews to investigate accessibility issues in four specific sectors: education; health; media and finance. Our research looked at awareness of and attitudes towards accessibility issues and pinpointed the drivers for developing accessible websites and digital media.
